Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about buying leads, cleaning your list, and staying TCPA compliant.
Buying Leads
Create a free account, use the filter tool to select your state, age range, and lead type, set your quantity, and checkout. Your CSV downloads instantly after payment.
100 leads. There is no maximum — you can purchase up to 10,000 leads per order with filters applied.
Credits never expire. Once purchased, your lead file is yours permanently. The 14-day exclusivity window refers to how long the leads are protected from being sold to other agents — not when they expire for you.
All major credit and debit cards via Stripe. No wire transfers or checks required.
Our leads come from opt-in sources including online surveys, sweepstakes entries, quote request forms, and consumer data cooperatives. All leads are sourced from consumers who have expressed interest in receiving information about products and services.
We offer both options. Exclusive leads are sold once and never resold—you're the only buyer. Shared leads may be sold to a limited number of buyers (typically 3-5 max). Exclusive leads cost more but have significantly higher conversion rates.
We specialize in health insurance, life insurance, Medicare, final expense, auto insurance, home services, solar, and general B2C sales. Our leads can be filtered by industry interest and buying intent signals.
Lead freshness varies by package. Real-time leads are delivered within seconds of the consumer submitting their information. Aged leads (7-90 days old) are available at lower costs but may have lower contact rates.
Leads are delivered as downloadable CSV files or can be pushed directly to your CRM via our integrations with Salesforce, HubSpot, and other platforms. Real-time leads can be delivered via API or webhook.
We offer credits for leads with verifiably wrong phone numbers or leads that are disconnected at the time of delivery. Contact our support team within 48 hours of purchase with evidence and we'll credit your account.
We cover all 50 US states. Our largest inventories are in Florida, Texas, California, and New York. Use the state filter to check availability.
Each lead includes: first name, last name, phone number, state, age, income band, product interest, DNC status, and last verified date.
Lead Quality
Every record goes through carrier verification (active within 30 days), DNC Registry check (federal + 17+ state lists), TCPA litigator database check, and landline/VoIP filtering before it's made available for purchase.
99.1% across all delivered records. If a number is disconnected, VoIP-only, or inactive, it is removed before you ever see it.
Contact support at info@skynet.com. We review quality complaints and issue credits for verified bad numbers.
DNC & Compliance
The National Do Not Call Registry plus all 17+ individual state DNC lists. We also check against our proprietary database of known TCPA litigators — individuals who specifically file lawsuits against companies that call them.
A TCPA litigator is someone who deliberately registers for contact lists and then sues callers under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act. Fines can reach $51,744 per call. Our litigator scrub removes these individuals before you download.
No compliance service can guarantee zero legal risk, but scrubbing against DNC and litigator lists significantly reduces your exposure. We recommend consulting a compliance attorney for your specific situation.
List Cleaning
CSV files. Your file should have phone numbers in a dedicated column. The cleaner identifies and removes DNC numbers, litigators, landlines, and disconnected numbers and returns a clean CSV.
Most lists process in under 60 seconds regardless of size.
Uploaded files are processed in aggregate only and automatically deleted within 24 hours. Individual records are never stored or sold.
A lead cleaning service processes your existing contact lists to remove invalid data, duplicates, and compliance risks. We validate phone numbers, identify mobile vs landline, check DNC registries, and remove bad entries—leaving you with a clean, compliant list.
We accept CSV and Excel files (XLS, XLSX). Your file should have phone numbers in a column—we automatically detect the phone column. All other columns in your file are preserved in the output.
You receive: (1) your cleaned list with only valid, dialable numbers, (2) separate files for removed entries (landlines, DNC, invalid), (3) a summary report showing what was cleaned. All original data columns are preserved.
Yes, we offer volume discounts for large-scale cleaning. Contact our sales team for custom pricing on lists over 100,000 records. We also offer monthly subscription plans for ongoing cleaning needs.
Absolutely. Many customers upload fresh lists weekly or monthly. We can set up automated cleaning via API integration with your data sources, so your lists are always current and compliant.
Getting Started
Sign up, use the dashboard to filter leads by your criteria, and purchase credits to download your list as a CSV file.
No — you can browse leads and explore the platform without entering any payment information.
Instantly. Once your account is created, you can start filtering and downloading leads right away.
Pricing & Credits
Each lead costs a base of 1 Lead Credit, plus 2 credits for Clean Mobile verification, plus 1 credit per additional filter applied (state, age, income, etc.), plus 3 credits for 6-month exclusivity. Buy credits in packages — larger packages offer better per-credit pricing. Credits never expire.
Credits are the currency used to purchase leads and clean phone lists. Lead Credits are used for downloading verified contacts — each lead starts at 1 credit base, +2 for Clean Mobile verification, plus 1 credit per active filter (state, age, income, etc.), and +3 for 6-month exclusivity. Clean Credits are used for DNC phone scrubbing at 1 credit per phone number ($0.0015 each).
Lead Credits (👥) are used for purchasing and downloading new contacts from our lead database. Clean Credits (✨) are used for DNC phone scrubbing via the Cleaner tool — each phone number costs 1 Clean Credit. The two credit types are separate balances in your account.
No. Lead Credits and Clean Credits never expire. Once purchased, they remain in your account until used.
No long-term contracts. Purchase credits when you need them and scale up or down freely.
Yes. Larger credit packages have a lower per-credit cost. You can also use the Custom Credit Pack Builder on the pricing page to create a package tailored to your exact needs with volume discounts automatically applied.
Yes. Use the Custom Credit Pack Builder on the pricing page to slide to your desired credit amount and get instant pricing. Volume discounts are applied automatically.
Standard leads include a 2-week protection period before they may become available to other buyers. Exclusive leads (+3 credits each) are locked for 6 months and not sold to anyone else during that period.
Estimate based on your monthly lead volume. A typical lead with 2 filters costs about 5 Lead Credits. So 10,000 credits would yield roughly 2,000 leads. Start with a smaller package to test your usage, then scale up.
New accounts can browse and preview data quality before purchasing. You can also use the See Pricing tool to test phone number validation at no cost.
Data Quality & Accuracy
We use a multi-step process including phone format validation, carrier lookup, mobile vs. landline identification, and cross-referencing against Federal and State DNC registries. Data is provided on an as-is basis per our Terms of Service.
Verified data has been confirmed through direct methods. For phones, this means carrier lookup confirming the number is active and identifying if it's mobile or landline. Verified data is more reliable than modeled or inferred data.
Mobile numbers are personal cell phones. Landline numbers are fixed-line phones typically used by businesses. The DNC Cleaner identifies and separates these types. Mobile numbers may have different consent requirements under TCPA.
B2B contact data degrades over time due to job changes, company closures, and number reassignments. Regular verification of your lists is recommended for active prospecting.
Compliant lead data should be sourced from opt-in or public business sources, and screened against DNC registries for phone outreach. Sky Net handles DNC scrubbing automatically, but you are responsible for ensuring your overall use of the data complies with applicable laws.
All sales are final per our Terms of Service. However, we offer credit adjustments for verifiably wrong or disconnected numbers if reported within 48 hours with documentation. Contact support for details.
You can browse and preview leads in the dashboard before purchasing. You can also use the See Pricing tool to test phone number validation on your own lists at no cost.
Per our Terms of Service, all data is provided on an as-is basis. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any data. You acknowledge that errors may exist and reliance on the data is at your own risk.
Modeled data uses algorithms to infer information (e.g., estimated revenue). Verified data has been confirmed through direct methods (e.g., email SMTP check, carrier lookup). Always ask what percentage of a vendor's data is modeled vs verified.
Compliance & Legal
All leads are automatically scrubbed against Federal and State Do Not Call registries before delivery, at no extra cost.
DNC (Do Not Call) compliance means ensuring phone numbers are screened against the Federal Trade Commission's National Do Not Call Registry and applicable state DNC lists before outbound calling. Calling numbers on these lists without permission can result in fines up to $43,792 per violation.
The Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) regulates telemarketing calls, auto-dialed calls, prerecorded messages, and text messages. It requires prior express consent before calling cell phones with autodialers or sending marketing texts. Violations can result in $500–$1,500 per call/text.
We scrub all phone numbers against Federal and State DNC registries before delivery. We also screen against known TCPA litigator databases to reduce lawsuit risk. You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of the data complies with all applicable laws.
We screen for known TCPA litigators and source leads from opt-in channels. You are responsible for ensuring your use of the data complies with all applicable laws including TCPA. We do not provide legal advice.
After DNC scrubbing, leads may be used for outbound calling in accordance with applicable laws. You are solely responsible for maintaining your own internal DNC list and following TCPA guidelines. Sky Net does not provide legal or compliance advice.
We support CCPA requirements including consumer deletion requests and data access inquiries. Our Privacy Policy details how California residents can exercise their rights.
CAN-SPAM regulates commercial email messages. It requires clear identification, valid physical address, opt-out mechanism, and honoring unsubscribe requests within 10 days. You are responsible for ensuring your email communications comply with CAN-SPAM.
No. Sky Net does not provide legal, tax, or compliance advice. All data is provided on an as-is basis for informational purposes only. You are solely responsible for ensuring lawful use of the data. We encourage consulting legal counsel for compliance questions.
As the end user, you are responsible for: (1) Complying with TCPA regulations for your specific calling method, (2) Honoring opt-out requests and maintaining internal suppression lists, (3) Following state-specific telemarketing laws, (4) Ensuring your calling practices meet industry regulations for your sector.
Yes. Insurance agents making outbound sales calls must comply with TCPA regulations, including DNC scrubbing, consent requirements, and calling time restrictions.
DNC Compliance
The National Do Not Call Registry is a database maintained by the FTC where consumers can register their phone numbers to opt out of telemarketing calls. Telemarketers must scrub their lists against this registry before calling.
Violations of the Do Not Call rules can result in fines up to $43,792 per call. The FTC and state attorneys general actively enforce these rules, and class action lawsuits can add significant additional costs.
The Federal DNC Registry is updated daily. Telemarketers must scrub their lists at least every 31 days. State DNC registries have varying update frequencies, typically monthly or quarterly.
The Federal DNC Registry is maintained by the FTC and covers all 50 states. Some states also maintain their own DNC lists with additional registrations. Full compliance requires checking both. Sky Net scrubs against all applicable registries.
Yes. Many states maintain their own DNC registries with additional numbers not on the Federal list. Some states have stricter rules and shorter grace periods. Sky Net scrubs against all 50 state registries.
If a consumer has an existing business relationship with you, you may call them even if they're on the DNC list—but only for 18 months after the last transaction or 3 months after an inquiry. However, they can still request to be added to your internal DNC list.
Calls to business phone lines (not personal cell phones of business contacts) are generally exempt from the Federal DNC Registry. However, you must still honor individual DNC requests, and some states have stricter B2B calling rules.
TCPA litigators are individuals who file repeated lawsuits against companies for alleged TCPA violations. We maintain a database of known litigators and remove them from our lead data to help protect customers.
TCPA litigator databases track phone numbers associated with individuals who have filed TCPA lawsuits. Calling these numbers carries high legal risk. Sky Net offers litigator scrubbing to remove these high-risk numbers.
You must maintain an internal list of consumers who have asked not to be called. Honor these requests within 30 days. Keep records for at least 5 years. Our cleaner can help you deduplicate and manage your internal suppression list.
We scrub your lists against the Federal DNC Registry, all 50 state DNC registries, and TCPA litigator databases. Our database is updated daily, and we provide compliance documentation for your records.
Data Sources & Privacy
Our data comes from multiple sources including public business registrations, opt-in business directories, and partnerships with compliant data providers. We do not use data from non-consented sources.
All data is obtained from legally permissible sources including public records, opt-in databases, and licensed data partnerships.
We use multiple verification methods including phone carrier lookups to confirm number status and type (mobile vs. landline), and cross-referencing across multiple sources. Data is provided on an as-is basis per our Terms of Service.
No. Data you upload for cleaning is processed solely to deliver the service you requested. We do not sell, share, or use customer-uploaded data for any other purpose.
No. We do not provide legal, tax, or compliance advice. Any data we provide is for informational purposes only. You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of the data complies with all applicable laws and regulations.
Our lead data comes from opt-in sources including online surveys, sweepstakes entries, quote request forms, consumer data cooperatives, and public records. All data is sourced from consumers who have provided consent to receive marketing communications.
Our data comes from opt-in sources, and we scrub all leads against the Federal DNC registry and state-level DNC lists before delivery. However, TCPA compliance ultimately depends on how you use the data. For automated/prerecorded calls to mobile phones, you need prior express written consent which must be obtained at the point of sale.
DNC (Do Not Call) scrubbing is the process of removing phone numbers that are registered on the Federal Trade Commission's Do Not Call Registry and state-level registries. Calling DNC numbers can result in fines of $500-$1,500 per violation, so scrubbing is essential for compliance.
We update our DNC database daily with the latest data from the FTC and state registries. This ensures you're always scrubbing against the most current Do-Not-Call information available.
For exclusive leads, no—they are sold once and never resold. Shared leads may be sold to a limited number of buyers (typically 3-5 max), but we never sell the same lead to direct competitors in the same market area simultaneously.

DNC Cleaner & See Pricing
The DNC Cleaner lets you upload your own phone lists and scrub them against Federal and State DNC registries, plus TCPA litigator databases. Each phone number costs 1 Clean Credit ($0.0015).
The See Pricing lets you upload a phone list for a quick analysis — see how many numbers are mobile, landline, DNC-registered, or invalid — at no cost. It's a great way to evaluate your list quality before purchasing a full clean.
Most lists under 10,000 records are processed in under 5 minutes. Larger files may take up to 30 minutes.
Yes — your first 100 records are scrubbed free with no credit card required.
Your first 100 records are scanned free — no credit card required. You'll get full DNC, mobile verification, and risk flagging results.
Yes, cleaned files are available for download for 30 days after processing.
Yes, you can upload your internal do-not-call list or previous customer file, and we'll remove any matches. This helps you honor opt-out requests and avoid calling existing customers.
Medicare Leads
Yes. You can set an exact age range to target T65 prospects, 66-70, or any bracket. The filter applies at the point of purchase and updates your available record count in real time.
Every lead is scrubbed against the National DNC Registry, all 17+ state DNC lists, and our proprietary TCPA litigator database. We also verify active mobile carrier status within 30 days. Compliance is built into every record before delivery.
Every number is carrier-verified within 30 days of your download. Disconnected, VoIP-only, and inactive numbers are removed before delivery.
Standard leads are exclusively yours for 14 days — no other agent can purchase the same record during that window. Exclusive leads are permanently retired after your purchase.
It means our data-preparation workflow includes suppression-aware steps designed to help teams reduce avoidable outreach risk. Customers remain responsible for their own legal compliance.
Final Expense Leads
Most final expense agents target 50–80. Our age filter lets you set an exact range, and the record count updates in real time so you know exactly what's available before you purchase.
Only if you want them. By default you can filter to mobile-only records. The Clean Mobile add-on removes all landlines, DNC numbers, and litigators automatically.
When you purchase a lead, no other agent can buy the same record for 14 days. If you choose the Exclusive option, the lead is permanently retired after your purchase and never resold to anyone.
Yes. The List Cleaner tool at skynet.com/cleaner lets you upload any CSV and get an instant breakdown of DNC flags, litigator hits, disconnected numbers, and landlines — before you spend anything on new leads.
Every phone number is checked against both the Federal DNC Registry and Florida's state-level Do Not Call list before delivery. We also screen against our TCPA litigator database — individuals who specifically sue telemarketers. This reduces your compliance exposure before you dial.
You can filter by county, ZIP code, age range (commonly 50–85 for final expense), income level, and gender. Each active filter adds 1 credit to the per-lead cost. The dashboard shows real-time record counts as you adjust filters.
Mobile-Only Leads
Mobile-only leads are contacts where the phone number has been verified as a wireless (cellular) number, not a landline or VoIP. This means you're calling actual mobile phones that people carry with them and are more likely to answer.
Mobile phones are personal devices that people keep with them throughout the day. Unlike landlines that may go to answering machines, faxes, or shared office lines, mobile phones are typically answered by the intended person. Studies show 30-40% answer rates for mobile vs 5-10% for landlines.
We use real-time carrier lookup technology that queries telecom databases to identify the line type. This returns whether a number is wireless (mobile), wireline (landline), or VoIP with 98%+ accuracy. We update our carrier data continuously.
Mobile-only leads may cost slightly more per contact, but the ROI is significantly better. With 3-5× higher connect rates, you're spending far less per actual conversation. Most customers find mobile-only lists more cost-effective overall.
Yes, the TCPA has specific requirements for calling mobile phones, especially for automated or prerecorded calls. All our mobile leads come from opt-in sources, but you should always verify you have appropriate consent for your specific calling method.
Absolutely. When purchasing leads from our marketplace, you can apply a 'mobile-only' filter to receive only verified cellular numbers. This saves you from having to scrub the list yourself after purchase.
Any industry doing outbound calling benefits, but especially: insurance sales (health, life, Medicare), financial services, home services (solar, HVAC, roofing), real estate, and B2C telemarketing. Basically, if you're calling consumers, mobile-only is the way to go.
B2B Lead Generation
B2B lead generation is the process of identifying and attracting potential business customers for your products or services. It involves collecting contact information from decision-makers at target companies who may have interest in what you offer.
We source B2B leads from opt-in business directories, trade show registrations, content downloads, webinar sign-ups, and business data cooperatives. All contacts have expressed interest in receiving business-related communications.
Yes, our B2B leads can be filtered by company size (employee count, revenue), industry (SIC/NAICS codes), job title, geographic location, and more. This ensures you're targeting the right decision-makers at the right companies.
B2B leads typically include: contact name, job title, company name, business phone (direct dial when available), email address, company address, industry, and company size indicators.
Our B2B leads come from opt-in sources. However, B2B calling has different rules than B2C—calls to business lines are generally exempt from TCPA's prior consent requirements, but you should still honor DNC requests and follow FTC telemarketing rules.
Our B2B database is continuously updated. We verify and refresh data regularly, removing contacts who have changed roles or companies. Fresh data means better contact rates and fewer bounces.
We sell consumer (people) leads — individual records with name, address, phone, email (when available), date of birth, credit score range, and income range. These are useful for B2B service firms running outreach campaigns to residential prospects.
Yes. Every lead includes a full mailing address. Many B2B service firms use our consumer leads for direct mail campaigns targeting homeowners or specific demographics.
Phone Number Scrubbing
Phone number scrubbing is the process of validating and cleaning phone numbers in your contact database. It identifies and removes landlines, disconnected numbers, invalid formats, and numbers registered on Do-Not-Call lists, leaving you with a clean list of valid mobile numbers.
We use real-time carrier lookup technology that queries telecom databases to identify the line type for each number. This returns whether a number is a mobile (wireless), landline (wireline), or VoIP number with 98%+ accuracy.
Landlines have significantly lower answer rates than mobile phones—often 5-10% compared to 30-40% for mobiles. Additionally, many landlines go to fax machines or business lines. Removing landlines focuses your calling on numbers most likely to connect with real prospects.
Invalid numbers are separated into a reject file that you can download. This includes disconnected numbers, numbers with invalid formats, and numbers that fail carrier validation. You'll know exactly what was removed and why.
You'll receive CSV files that include: (1) your cleaned list with only valid mobile numbers, (2) a file of removed landlines, (3) a file of DNC matches, and (4) a file of invalid/disconnected numbers. All original data columns are preserved.
A lead scrubber is a tool that cleans and validates your contact lists by removing invalid numbers, landlines, DNC-registered numbers, and duplicates. This ensures your call lists are compliant and contain only reachable mobile contacts.
The TCPA imposes fines of $500-$1,500 per violation for calling numbers on the Do-Not-Call registry. Our lead scrubber automatically removes DNC numbers and landlines (which have different consent requirements), helping you avoid costly violations.
Most lists are processed in seconds to minutes. Upload your CSV or Excel file, select your scrubbing options, and download your cleaned list immediately. We process thousands of numbers per minute.
Our validation uses real-time carrier lookups with 98%+ accuracy. We identify disconnected numbers, line type (mobile vs landline), and carrier information to ensure maximum list quality.

No. Customer upload data and export history are never sold, shared, or used for any purpose other than delivering the services you requested.
You can request complete data deletion through your account settings or by contacting support. We honor deletion requests within 30 days in accordance with GDPR and CCPA requirements.
Yes. We use encrypted connections for file transfer and processing. Your data is deleted from our servers within 24 hours of processing. We never share, sell, or use your data for any purpose other than the cleaning service you requested.
Vendor Comparison
Request sample data that matches your target criteria. Run emails through a third-party verifier. Check phone numbers for type (mobile vs landline). Calculate the percentage of records with complete information.
Industry standard is under 5% for verified lists. Anything above 10% indicates poor data quality. Some vendors guarantee specific deliverability rates with credits for bounces.
Yes. B2B contact data degrades 20-30% annually due to job changes. Data older than 6 months will have significantly higher bounce rates and wrong-person rates.
Building an internal team typically costs $100K-300K annually (salaries, tools, data subscriptions). Outsourced solutions range from $0.10-$3.00 per lead depending on quality and verification level. Break-even usually occurs around 50,000-100,000 leads per year.
Yes, many companies use a hybrid approach. They might outsource initial list building and use internal resources for enrichment, qualification, and nurturing. This combines speed with customization.
Key factors: data source transparency, verification methodology, compliance practices, match rate guarantees, pricing model, and self-service capabilities. Request sample data before committing to large purchases.
Internal lead gen investments are largely sunk costs. If you hire team members and buy tools that don't perform, you're left with fixed expenses. Outsourced models let you stop spending immediately if results aren't there.
Agency & White-Label
We're actively building B2B datasets. Timeline updates will be shared via email. We don't have a specific launch date yet.
Not currently. White-label capabilities may be considered for the future but are not available today.
No. We do not currently offer email verification or validation. Email addresses are included in consumer leads when available but are not verified.
Agencies running phone outreach campaigns can use our DNC Cleaner to scrub client call lists. We also sell consumer leads filtered by location, age, income, credit score, and gender — useful for agencies serving insurance, real estate, or financial services clients.
